AutoReconnect

Gets or sets the value that indicates whether the ObsClient should automatically try to reconnect to OBS Studio.

Remarks

When the value is True, the client will automatically try to reconnect to OBS Studio, every 3 seconds, when:

  • The connection was closed by OBS Studio
  • OBS Studio closed
  • You sent an invalid message or your password was incorrect.

When you call Disconnect(), this setting is automatically set to False. Setting it back to True, after calling Disconnect(), will automatically try to reconnect.

It is also set to False when OBS Studio ends the session on purpose, with the Kick button of its session list (SessionInvalidated): obs-websocket requires that a client does not reconnect automatically then.
