CreateRecordChapter(string?, CancellationToken)

Adds a new chapter marker to the file currently being recorded.

public Task CreateRecordChapter(string? chapterName = null, CancellationToken cancellationToken = default)

Parameters

chapterName string

Name of the new chapter.

cancellationToken CancellationToken

A token that ends the wait for the response, which makes the method throw an OperationCanceledException. A request that was already sent is not undone: OBS Studio may still carry it out.

Remarks

Note: As of OBS 30.2.0, the only file format supporting this feature is Hybrid MP4.
