CreateScene(string, Guid?, CancellationToken)

Creates a new scene in OBS.

public Task<Guid> CreateScene(string sceneName, Guid? canvasUuid = null, CancellationToken cancellationToken = default)

Parameters

sceneName string

Name for the new scene.

canvasUuid Guid?

UUID of the canvas to create the new scene in. Leave default to assume main canvas.

cancellationToken CancellationToken

A token that ends the wait for the response, which makes the method throw an OperationCanceledException. A request that was already sent is not undone: OBS Studio may still carry it out.

Returns

Task<Guid>

UUID of the created scene.
