Remarks

You can continue using the ObsClient after this exception is thrown. This exception does not indicate that the communication between the client and OBS Studio is lost, but merely that OBS Studio has returned an error in reply to your request. For example, when you call GetCurrentPreviewScene, but Studio Mode is not turned on in OBS Studio.
